At 55, an excruciating 1-month-long photo shoot in ancient Mayan caves sent Patty reeling to Florence, Italy for a reboot. This unexpectedly led her to publish a series of much-needed travel books on the major Italian cities for today's time-constrained, depth-seeking travelers that continually want more and more from their travel experiences.
