Learn how to shape a trip around your interests, balance famous sights with unexpected discoveries, and give yourself time to enjoy the places you’ve traveled so far to experience. With just 15 people per session, you’ll enjoy a welcoming small-group conversation that draws on everyone’s curiosity. Bring your wish list, your itinerary, and your “Am I trying to do too much?” questions. You’ll leave with clearer priorities, greater confidence, and a more personal plan for discovering Italy’s art, history, and everyday pleasures—with room for a little serendipity, and naturally, gelato.

Session pricing is PER SESSION – NOT PER PERSON. So split the cost among everyone in your group to get the very best value.

Note: up to 15 people allowed online per session.

After you book “An Hour with the Author” you will be contacted via email to book the time that works for you and your group. Then you will be sent a Zoom link that you can give to everyone in your group so they can join in the session.

On our designated Session day, we kindly ask that everyone in your group logs in 10 minutes early to set up their video and audio equipment. (We would hate to waste time during your hour while people struggle to set up their Zoom.) A Video camera is recommended (so we can get to know you) but is not required. Audio is required, however, so everyone can ask questions of Patty during the session.

This is a hugely valuable opportunity – and the more people in your group on this Zoom Call, the less it will cost each of you!

Once ordered, you will be contacted by Patty Civalleri to schedule the best date for you and your group to meet and get your trip started – ahead of time!
